Pulsz Review: Redemptions Are Quick, the Fine Print Is Not
Pulsz is one of the biggest sweepstakes casinos in the US. Gift cards can land within hours, cash takes days, and a $14 million settlement plus a shrinking state list say a lot about the risks we weighed.
Our verdict
Pulsz redeems faster than most sweepstakes sites if you take gift cards, and it asks for a low 10 SC to start. Cash needs 100 SC and typically takes a few business days after ID checks. The state list keeps shrinking, so confirm you are eligible before buying any Gold Coins.
Best for: Sweepstakes players who want fast gift card redemptions
- Price
- Free to play; optional Gold Coin packages
What we liked
- Gift card redemptions reportedly start at 10 SC and can arrive within hours
- Cash prizes by bank transfer or Skrill at a 1 SC to $1 rate
- Free to play, with Gold Coin packages optional
- Mobile apps for iOS, with an App Store listing marked free
What held it back
- Cash minimum is 100 SC and reports put processing at 3 to 4 business days
- ID and address verification is required before your first redemption
- Pulsz has exited several states, including California, and terms change often
Pulsz wins or loses on one question: when you have Sweeps Coins to redeem, how long until something real arrives? The answer depends on what you pick. Gift cards are quick. Cash is slower and fussier. And a reputation for speed does not help if your state is no longer on the list.
One note on method first. Pulsz's own website blocked our requests, so we could not open its redemption page. The numbers below come from outside guides, the App Store listing and news coverage, and we say where they disagree.
Gift cards first, cash second
Action Network's payments page puts the cash floor at 100 Sweeps Coins, valued at $1 each, and the gift card floor at 10 SC for a $10 card. Other reviewers say 25 SC for cards, so confirm the number in your account. Cash goes out by bank transfer or Skrill, with processing of 3 to 4 business days. Gift cards are electronic and the same guide says anywhere from an hour to 24 to 48 hours.
Gambling.com's headline for its review talks about "fast Skrill redemptions", which fits what we read elsewhere: e-wallet routes beat bank transfers. If speed matters, a card or Skrill is the practical route.
What slows a redemption down
Verification. Every guide says you must pass ID checks before your first payout, typically a government photo ID and sometimes proof of address. Do it the day you sign up, not the day you win. Some outside reviewers also mention a 48 hour cooldown between requests, a 10,000 SC cap per transaction and coin expiry after 60 days of inactivity. We could not confirm those in Pulsz's own terms, so check them before you rely on them.
